We are a proud family-run business rooted in the heart of Old Tbilisi, where our apartments have been cherished for five generations. Since opening our doors to guests in 2013, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming visitors from all around the world. Over the past decade, we’ve grown from a single studio to five thoughtfully maintained apartments in two prime Old Tbilisi locations for Tbilisi expats and city visitors.

Although I now live in Manchester, UK, I’m originally from Tbilisi, and my love for Georgian hospitality was a passion I shared with my late husband, Alan Forrest Smith, who was from Edinburgh. Citizen Tbilisi is Alan’s lasting legacy. His deep love for Tbilisi and his commitment to offering guests a genuine experience drove him to carefully craft and rebuild our homes, preserving the authentic charm of Tbilisi living. We’ve infused each space with our shared passion for travel and authentic local experiences, ensuring your stay is both comfortable and truly immersive.

Our commitment to hospitality is shared by my mother, who lives in the same courtyard as our apartments and is always available if you need assistance. The community in our yard is warm and inviting, making you feel at home the moment you arrive.
